I made this piece at a low point in my life. The day I found myself lying in a fetal position, curled up on the cold floor. Alone. More alone than I had ever felt. The piece explores how to get two portraits of myself to occupy the same physical space. The end of myself and the beginning of myself, together, one. Each portrait is constructed with the simplest of all shapes the triangle. There are no words I can find for my trauma. For me, the expression of this life-changing moment is here - plain to see and interpret in the context of your own life experience as the observer. If you look closely enough, you will even see your reflection of yourself.
