"I have grown up listening to Jazz. I have studied it, played it, listened to it and dreamed of being a master. To some extent, Jazz is my greatest personal limitation. It is the art to which I have dedicated the most time and achieved the least in terms of my own personal goals. Amy Winehouse's brilliant career is one of music's most beautiful, yet saddest songs. Taking inspiration from the genius of Amy Winehouse, this artwork uses a visual and mathematical language to explores to find a deeper understanding of Amy and of Jazz itself. This piece is in some ways as close as I will ever come to being the Jazz musician I dreamt of being."
