This work explores the breadth and depth of our relationship across time, using the story of Cupid and Psyche as a metaphor. The form is inspired by a marble sculpture in the Louvre, made by Antonio Canova in 1794: Cupid and Psyche. We wanted to give love and credit to the amazing artists that came before us, that have inspired and taught and loved and created.
