Yuliya Martynova

The subject matter is often to lift the weight of existence and find a thread that pulls you forward to evolve and change yourself or your attitude towards challenging circumstances in life.

Yuliya is a multidisciplinary painter born in Kazakhstan who have been living in the UK in the past 20 years. She was taught classical arts and trained as a lawyer in prestigious schools both in Kazakhstan and the UK. 

 

Her paintings have are in the collections of H&H Development (Dubai) and the Keswick Family among others. Her cloud collections have been acquired by esteemed medical facilities such as the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre (New York) and the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab (Chicago). Yuliya has loaned large pieces to Gordon Ramsey for his restaurant The Streets and has been shown with Thames Lido, Black Radish and Soho House. Yuliya was one of the few British artists chosen to provide art for the cruise liner 'Spirit of Discovery' built by SAGA and christened by Queen Camila in 2019. Yuliya has also been a frequent exhibitor at many London and Edinburgh art fairs since 2016.
